I took a trip to Tokyo, Japan!

A cool Naruto-themed train
Journey for a PSP-3000
I know there isn’t much special about a Japanese PSP other than a memento of the trip but that was enough for me. Many visits to Hard-Off and Book-Off lead me to purchasing a Radiant Red PSP-3000 in mint condition and a PS Vita.

Hard-Off PSP UMD Drawer
95% Monster Hunter series game discs

Tokyo Flea-Market beater PSP-3000
I bought this knowing I would modify it so I wasn’t concerned with the condition of the case. The man wouldn’t negotiate at all, the screen displayed extreme yellowing but thats ok! It came with a charger and a soccer game in the drive that wasn’t checked, all for 7000 Yen! Which I would come to learn was not that bad of a price.

Family-Mart Hash-browns
At least I think this was Family-Mart! They were very good, the right amount of grease to remind me of home.

Back At The Hotel
I bought a few $2 UMD games to test it more

Back Home!
Here was my haul of handhelds I decided to get, I had dissembled the beater PSP and cleaned it up, looking niceeee!

Project Chrysalis
This is what the silver beater became! The changes are as follows:
- Re-shelled with a Clear Case
- Upgraded analog thumbstick
- Tact-switch modded dpad/buttons
- IPS LED v1 Screen replacement (v1 Works with PS1 Games while v2 does not)
- Flashed to Ark-4 with a 128gb SD card.
I’m still on the lookout for a beater black broken psp for good black buttons and D-Pad.
